A few more answers to common questions...
Is a deposit required to hold my reservation? Yes, half down with the reservation with balance on arrival. IF you cancel seven
days prior to your arrival date we will cheerfully refund your deposit.
Does Linda take credit cards? She takes mine all the time but she won't take yours ! Checks and cash are welcomed. Your rate from
Linda will be inclusive. We don't ask for a damage or cleaning deposit and ask that you clean the house prior to departure. We've
never had a problem.
What if it rains during our visit? If you're outside you'll probably get wet. Actually fishing in summer rains is excellent for trout
catching. We'll provide you with information about horse back riding, whitewater rafting and area attractions upon arrival and
if you have any special or unusual interests we'll try to accomodate those also. The web has many weather sites to help with your
daily planning. We are unable to offer refunds for any weather events. Yours or ours.
Does my cell phone work in Del Rio? Nope and we hope it never does. Big mountains but no towers. Service is available in Newport
and Hot Springs, NC. But the house has an answering machine for your messages if you're out. Bring a calling card. Phone service is
local only without one.
Local medical facilities? Baptist Hospital of Cocke County in Newport, dentists, chiropractors, dialysis, physical therapists, etc.
all in Newport. 24 hour Paramedic service in County.
